Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)

St John WA has received official endorsement from Reconciliation Australia for our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).

Our Innovate RAP is our commitment to maximise the contribution we make to the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across WA.

Based around the core pillars of relationships, respect, opportunities and governance, our RAP will provide tangible and substantive benefits for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, by developing equitable working relationships, increasing economic equity and supporting First Nations self-determination.

Artwork: Connecting our communities

"This artwork speaks to the reconciliation journey St John WA is on. The circles within my artwork represent communities joined together by the relationships St John WA creates with them. Some communities have shorter walks and stronger connections; others are longer and take more time to form.

To me, the journey feels like water, flowing forward and all connected in some way. Water is the source of life to everything, and I have used this to represent St John WA's impact on communities. Creating more opportunities for our mob and helping to keep our people strong."
