How do I get started?
We recommend a few simple steps to prepare your computer for completing the digital first aid training.
- Close all of our other applications to save memory
- Check your audio settings and that your speakers or headphones are working correctly
- Ensure your web browser is the latest version. See information and links below
- If you are using your mobile phone, plug in your headphones
What browser can I use to do this training?
We recommend you use the latest version of either Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. ·

What type of computer I need?
We recommend a laptop or desktop computer with:
- Windows 10
- 8gb of RAM
- Less than 4 years old
- The latest browser version
- Speakers for sound
Will the training run on an older computer?
It may run slower than usual. We recommend you close all other applications before starting.
How much are the skills or courses?
First aid course and individual skill pricing is available on our website.
I can’t hear the sound. How do I fix it?
Our digital first aid training uses audio and you will require speakers to hear the instructions.
If you are not hearing any sound out of your device as the training progresses, please check your computer audio settings or the volume on your device.
How do I change it to full screen?
Just scroll to the bottom of the page and look for the full screen icon, click on it and the app will switch to full screen. Press the escape key on your keyboard (Esc) to exit full screen mode or the button or swipe action you use to close apps on our mobile device.

Can I do the training on my mobile?
Yes, you can if it’s a new phone. Open the link we have sent you in your mobile phone browser and switch the app to full screen mode.
How do I redeem a code?
Access your training through the link you have been provided in the email. Once your page has loaded, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Menu tab
- Click the Redeem button
- Enter your code
- Click Redeem and your course will unlock
- Get started!
What do the colours mean on the skills?
Blue indicates that the skill is incomplete
Grey indicates it’s locked
Green indicates you have completed it successfully. The skill will also display a white tick icon

How do I pause the training?
Click the menu in the top right corner. Click Resume to continue again.
Where is the inventory? I cannot find it.
Click the menu in the top right of the training app to open the inventory.
What skills or courses are available?
For a full list of skills and courses, click here.
Will I get a certificate when I complete these skills or courses?
Yes! For each skill or course you complete, you will be emailed your St John Accredited certificate.
I have forgotten my password, how do I reset it?
Access the link below and enter your email address, instructions will be emailed to you.
Once you have reset your password, you can use the new password to sign into the digital first aid training app.
How do I get a refund?
If you purchased an online course by mistake, please contact our first aid team for information on how you can refund your purchase.
